My name is Ashlie Denise. I am 13 yrs old. Music
is my life. I started singing at the age of 5.
I sung Karaoke for about 3 years, decided I
wanted to try something different, so I went to any
place where there was a band and had open-mic.
I also decided to learn to play a guitar at this time.
So, I started my guitar lessons. Just recently
bought me a new Taylor, which I dearly love.
I have had my share of competition and some wins! I competed in
TCMA last year and made it to Nationals, where I won Most Promising
Female Vocalist and Most Promising Female Entertainer, which is
second place. I was very pleased, since that was my first year to
compete at NACMAI.
In the year of 2008 I competed again at State and National level,
I am proud to say I won vocalist and entertainer of the Year (which is
First Place). I was also youth performer at the Country Tonite Theater
in 2008. I play guitar, piano and sing at other locations.
I am very Thankful for my fans and friends.
My Fans give me strength and make me strive
to continue to improve. Thanks to all of you,
who listens to my music. Also I appreciate all
the support I get. Without my Fans, I would be
nothing. My goals are high and I will work very
hard to reach those goals. I will always need
my Family, friends and fans to support.
